Ripple Politics combines news, political stances and user demographics to create an interactive experience concerning the current election process.

The service allows a user to monitor election news through a Smart Phone. In addition to this the service provides a platform for the user to view key issue stances to gain a full understanding of the policies each candidate supports and what they stand for. The information is simple and updated so the user remains informed and can easily reference the position each candidate is taking and a valid source evidencing why they are for or against that issue. This is supplemented with the option to pledge support for the candidate which the user believes should win and this option can be changed as the momentum for the campaign builds.

Throughout the run up to election day the user will have full access to see the results of the combined polling data which is then presented within the app. This is complimented with the user’s ability to view a variety of demographic perspectives which includes their own candidate pledge.

The service is free and anonymous and is essentially designed to enable a busy individual to stay connected to a key election 24hours a day through the world wide web. The simplistic polling results will help provide a commentary on who is supporting which candidate and provides a user with a perspective of which groups of people they are standing with in terms of their political persuasion
